My son, the Warrior

When I came home from Robbie and Michelle's the other day, I was tired and have been lazy ever since so I left my bag by the front door. Today Aiden trifled into it, got into my make up bag, picked out my eye liner and then proceed to apply his war paint.
These are the results:

P.S. Joshua Liam Faller was born on Monday, February 9, 2009, weighing in at 11 lbs, 7 oz, bringing mine and Thomas' niece and nephew count to 16. Congratulations, Josh and Lynn!!

Kim's Birthday Week

Crazy!! That's what it was.

The day of my birthday, Thomas had to work, and I was being self-righteous and didn't want to cook him dinner to take to work because dangit, it was my birthday, so we decided that we were going to go out to eat.
We went to a local BBQ that just opened called Big Daddy's and while we are waiting for our food to come, a man comes up to us and, noticing Thomas in his Policeman uniform, asks him if he knows of any cars that are around town that he can buy because he needs to buy one tonight. Mind you this is at like 7.00 pm so all the car dealerships would have closed already for the night. We tell him that we can't think of anything at the moment, but we'd think about a little bit longer and come over to where he was sitting and tell him what we came up with.
So we sit there and ponder for a second and the only thing we can think of is to offer our Durango because we had been trying to sell it for a while, but without any luck. We offer it to him, and even though we took a little hit on it, we still got more than we would have if we traded it in because there were a few minor things wrong with it that a car dealership would decreased the value dramatically. So we are clear and free of our Durango and with the money we received from that and our income tax, we can pay off our Alero! Hooray!
Well, Wednesday, we had to meet the lady we sold it to (the daughter of the man that approached us) and take her over to Perry and get the money from her bank. We hung out there for a little bit then came home where we found out Joe was going to Robbie and Michelle's that night in case she went into labor, but would have to come back first thing in the morning because Chris had an appointment he needed to take her to.
So instead of that nonsense, Thomas and I decided that I would go up a day early seeing as how I was planning on going up Thursday anyway because she was being induced early Friday morning if she hadn't gone into labor.
Long story short, she went into labor that night and I stayed up there and watched her kids while she was in the hospital and Robbie was back and forth. Kevin James Faller was born Feb 5, 2009, weighing in at a hefty 10 lbs 5 oz.
So now I am home and love being back in my bed with Aiden in his crib for him to take naps in. Life is back to normal, at least for now.
